I am Roneda Scott, Executive Director of HOYAS.  A native of Goodman in Holmes County, Mississippi, I have the privilege of meeting and working closely with Holmes County school leaders, parents, students and community members. I've come to find that as a group we all hope for a better community.  HOYAS has a passion and dedication for our community's success.  We are operating with a renewed spirit and energy, and endeavoring to harness this shared vision and transform it into collective action focused on quality community development and economic sustainability. 

As our community faces many challenges, I hope you will join the movement in seizing the opportunity to make this mark in time the beginning of a new day for Holmes County children and families.
