Robert P. Scott, Sr.

As Founder of Team HOYAS, Robert Scott was employed with the Department of Veteran Affairs in Jackson, MS where he recently retired. He has been a pastor for almost 20 years. During his time of pastoring, he became highly aware of the severe issues threatening the Holmes County community. His passion grew to ensure youth and individuals received the best access to education and employment. He implemented plans to creates sustainability through Team HOYAS.
A graduate of Jackson State University in Jackson, MS, in the field of Early Childhood Development, Mr. Scott prepared to be a passionate member in the community to move towards making a positive change in Holmes County, MS.
